The Ink Jacket

Details: The Ink Jacket is an online magazine and blog about literature and its impact and connection to current events. Still under construction, the project began in 2013 with the aim of showcasing writerly news, criticism, prose, poetry, and any thinking of a certain ingenuity and ambition. More web development is needed for the site, but look for updates in the near future.
The Road Ahead Article Series and Book
Status: Complete
Details: Using the past and present to get a glimpse of a community's future was the purpose behind The Road Ahead, a collaboration of investigative reports by the Greeley Tribune. At the paper the series of articles lasted 18 months and was divided into three segments: Greeley’s past, its present, and its future. Topics included immigration, gang violence, education, agriculture, water, and the oil and gas boom. Shueh's piece, that can be read here, unearthed Greeley's dependence to oil and gas revenues using the oil town of Casper, Wyoming as reference.
Tahoe Winter Magazine

Details: Tahoe Magazine is a semi-annual publication of Swift Communications Lake Tahoe newspapers. Each year it's divided into a summer and winter edition. Shueh's articles include Season of Change, an analysis of resort business in the region; Social Media on the Mountain, a story about innovative social media techniques employed by resorts; and Tahoe People: Photographer Keoki Flagg, a profile of one of the Tahoe's most engaging photographers.

Details: Tahoe Magazine is a semi-annual publication of Swift Communications Lake Tahoe newspapers. Each year it's divided into a summer and winter edition. Shueh's articles compiled the cycling section of the magazine. Articles included, Coming of Age: A Look at the Growth of Cycling in Tahoe and Truckee; Top 10 Reasons for Biking in Tahoe; Biking Wisdom from a Cycling Sage; Top 10 Mountain Biking Trails; and Be Safety Savvy Before Hitting the Trail.
We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.
